Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 July 2026
counterAI is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under GDPR.
Data controller
The data controller is counterAI — an independent EU-based publisher operated by Marek Adamczyk (counterai.eu). For any data-protection matter, contact contact@counterai.eu.
Who we are
counterAI (counterai.eu) is an independent EU-based publisher focused on AI defense, detection, and critical AI literacy.
Data we collect
We collect the email address you voluntarily submit via our lead-magnet form (Deepfake Red-Flag Checklist).
Analytics (Google Analytics 4 & Microsoft Clarity)
If you consent to analytics cookies in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (session recordings and heatmaps to improve usability; Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited / Microsoft Corporation, a US entity) with Google Consent Mode v2 — by default no analytics cookies are set, and they only start running after you actively give consent. Cookies used include _ga, _gid, _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "cookie settings" link in the footer.
Google Signals
As of 14 July 2026 we have enabled Google Signals in Google Analytics 4. If you consent to analytics cookies and are simultaneously signed in to a Google account in the same browser, Google may associate data about your visits to this site with your activity across other devices and Google services. Google Signals enables cross-device reporting and may feed Google's advertising features — including remarketing audiences and interest-based advertising — even though we do not run ads directly on this site ourselves. You can control what data Google uses to personalise ads via your Google Account (myadcenter.google.com). Google Signals only activates once you consent to analytics cookies.
Third-party processor: Web3Forms
Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party service. Web3Forms is based in the United States. By submitting the form, you consent to the transfer of your email address to the USA under your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 49(1)(a)). Web3Forms processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Purpose of processing
We process your email address solely to send you the requested checklist. We do not send newsletters or marketing emails.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at: contact@counterai.eu
Data retention
Email addresses are held only as long as necessary to deliver the checklist, then deleted.
