About counterAI
counterAI is an independent EU publisher covering the defensive side of artificial intelligence: how AI is misused, how to detect it, and how to stay in control. We are a knowledge resource, not a consultancy.
What we do
We publish practical, defence-oriented research across three pillars — Defense & Security, Detection & Transparency, and Critical AI Literacy. The goal is to make AI risk understandable to non-specialists without dumbing it down, and to help organizations prepare for obligations such as the EU AI Act.
How we work — no AI slop
Every article is grounded in documented, verifiable cases: assigned CVEs, published security research, and primary regulatory sources. We explain attack mechanisms conceptually for awareness and defence — we do not publish working exploit code or step-by-step attack recipes. Where something is uncertain, we say so.
Who writes it
Content is written and edited by Marek Adamczyk, the founder of counterAI, focused on AI defense and EU digital policy. Questions, corrections, and source tips are welcome at contact@counterai.eu.
Affiliate & funding disclosure
counterAI is reader-focused and editorially independent. Some articles — particularly detector-tool reviews in our Detection pillar — may contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never determine our verdict, and we label such links where they appear. We do not run advertising or behavioural tracking.
